Privacy Policy
This app is used to manage classroom points for the Analytics and Data Structures using AI course. It is intended for approved students and course staff only.
What we collect
When you sign in with Google, this app stores only the information needed to identify your account and run the course points system. This includes your Google account identifier, your email address, your display name, your role in the app, and your point transaction history.
How we use Google account data
The app uses Sign in with Google only to authenticate approved users. It does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, contacts, or other Google data beyond the basic identity information returned during sign-in.
How we use your data
Your data is used to:
- allow you to sign in securely
- determine whether you are an approved student or admin
- show your current point balance and transaction history
- allow course staff to award, deduct, transfer, and audit points
Storage
App data is stored in a SQLite database controlled by the course operator and hosted on infrastructure managed by Opalstack.
Sharing
This app is not designed to sell or publicly publish your data. Point information may be visible to course staff and may be shown to students within the app as part of normal classroom activities, depending on how the course is run.
Access and removal
If you want your account data corrected or removed after the course, contact the course administrator using the support email listed on the Google sign-in screen.
Changes
This policy may be updated if the app adds new course features. Material changes should be reflected on this page before continued use.
